Outreach Innovation Building

The 96,000 square foot Outreach Innovation Building, designed by GBQC Architects of Philadelphia, is part of Phase A-2 in Innovation Park. The $27 million facility supports the frequent cooperation and collaboration of units that were previously housed in 4 separate buildings.
Penn State Public Broadcasting programs and services include WPSX-TV and WPSU-FM, transmissions that reach some 500,000 households and assist numerous Penn State units.
Penn State World Campus provides distance education that serves students in all 50 states, as well as 20 other countries providing anytime/anywhere online education resources.
The building itself features one main and several smaller television production studios with supportive facilities, radio production facilities, and equipment room, a resource library for the World Campus, various offices (including several other units of Outreach and Cooperative Extension), conference rooms and a centrally located multi-purpose space.
