Poole Anderson was proud to serve as the General Contractor on this project located on 245 acres adjacent to Elk State Forest and State Game Lands 311.
This 8,400 square feet green building includes interpretive exhibits, wildlife trails, viewing blinds and parking for cars and buses. Some green features include rainwater collection and reuse; night-sky friendly light fixtures; use of locally available materials; sustainably harvested timber; and use of low emitting paints, adhesives and carpets. The building is eligible for Gold LEED certification.
